As a result of the lockdown for Covid, and for the first time ever, BIAFF entries have been judged on-line. David Newman, the Competition Manager. ensured as far as possible that the judging process followed the normal pattern. It took place over a weekend. The judges worked in rotating groups of three, watching and discussing the films on-line. Then, over the next couple of weeks, they wrote detailed comments for the filmmakers.
